F&F is an online shop specialising in the latest women's, kids and men's fashion.
Although it states that I was a Visual Designer it was very much a split between design and development. The project was based around the redevelopment of the LexisAdvance Quicklaw website. My role also involved producing wireframes using Axure.
Stylistpick at the the time I worked there was a start-up based around the idea of hand picked fashion for musthave brands and trends.
This role was the first one for me in the gaming industry. I enjoyed the experience and I'm open to new opportunites in this area.
My first project was designing Sales Presenter, a "slide show forger" application used by Yell's sales force during customer visits.

I was brought in at the last minute, via being referred by someone, to work on a microsite homepage design for a pitch to the RSPB. The client was very happy with my work and I was asked by TWENTYFIRSTCENTURY to design the rest of the site. I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS3 to produce this.

LexisAdvance Quicklaw is a tool for finding out specific details around legal matters, covering various jurisdictions around the world.
One of the best aspects of this project for me was that I had the chance to work on some quite complex wireframes, which made this a remarkable project for me.

I am particulary proud of this project because it gave me the chance to sharpen my front end skills and also work with Magento. I also studied fashion in my degree so I enjoyed working with the website content.
I developed the jQuery to enable the shoe to be magnified. The styling has been changed now, but you can still view this in situ.

The idea behind the iYell intranet was for it to be made up of SilverLight modules within an XHTML framework and this is why this project is a favourite of mine - the concept is quite unusual. I developed both the XHTML and the SilverLight module designs while a number of developers worked on the back-end, which was coded using C#.

I was particularly pleased with the final result of this project, as I was greatly involved with the design and the CSS development. I also produced my first set of wireframes for the Phones & Tariffs area of the website.
The Goethe-Zertifikat A1: Start Deutsch 1 requires very basic language skills. The examination corresponds to level one (A1) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Fashion Communication with Promotion (FCP) is a pathway within BA (Hons) Fashion and benefits from thriving within the creative environment of Central Saint Martins. FCP is focused on how fashion is communicated and promoted creatively through different media. The course includes fashion writing, photography, fashion trends, fashion history, styling, public relations, fashion film, fashion media, illustration, fashion show production, set and installation design, graphics and branding, and the creative use of new digital platforms.
I ended up focusing on graphics, branding, and photography. For my final project I produced a CD-ROM for fashion photographers and models.
This course basically helped me to develop my portfolio so I could apply for my degree course.
I won first prize, in my year, for the fine art final project!
